In Avane

The 2024 vintage was balanced and favorable for grape quality. The mild winter and regular rainfall ensured good water reserves, while spring saw steady vegetative growth. The warm but breezy summer, with wide temperature variations between day and night, preserved freshness and aromas in the white grapes. The harvest took place under optimal conditions, with healthy and ripe grapes, shaping a harmonious, fresh, and intensely aromatic vintage.

The 2023 growing season was characterized by a spring with higher-than-average rainfall compared to recent years. This necessitated meticulous vineyard management, particularly with regard to canopy control, in order to mitigate the risk of fungal diseases. Despite high temperatures in July and August, the vines did not experience hydric stress, as soil water reserves— replenished during the wet spring—were sufficient to sustain vine development. Additionally, the warm conditions prevented the onset of insect infestations. A pronounced diurnal temperature range during late August and early September contributed to the achievement of optimal grape ripening.

During the 2022 season, no extreme weather events occurred, providing favorable conditions for vine development. The high summer temperatures were mitigated by mid-August rains, which contributed to an optimal grape ripening process.
